Gorillaz Tiles

Gorillaz Tiles is a mahjong-like board game. Try to clear away all of the tiles. Tap on the matching ones and try to create new combinations to earn bombs. Each new level will feature an extra tile design, making the puzzle increasingly difficult.

How to play Gorillaz Tiles

The board is filled with two layers of tiles with pictures of the band Gorillaz. Your objective is to remove them all. Tap on combinations of two or more tiles that are lying right next to each other. These tiles will vanish from the board. If you create a gap, the tiles above will fall down to fill it. Tiles will also slide to the left if a column is completely cleared away.

Tiles will also vanish if two identical ones fall on top of each other, or land next to each other. Chain reactions will earn the player a half a bomb. If there are no more tile combinations to tap, the player can use these bombs to blow up the remaining tiles.

Gorillaz Tiles strategy tips

Bombs will become increasingly important toward the end of each round, especially in the last of the game’s three levels. That’s why it’s important to save up as many of them as you can. Look carefully for combinations that will cause a chain reaction, especially at the bottom of the board.

The first level is your best opportunity to save up a lot of bombs, and you can take any remaining bombs with you into the next levels. If you do have to use a bomb, try to blow up those tiles that will yield at least half a bomb in return.

Who are the Gorillaz?

They are lead singer 2-D (whose vocals are provided by Albarn), bassist Murdoc Niccals, drummer Russel Hobbs, and lead guitarist and keyboardist Noodle.
