Forest Match is a match-3 game with beautiful graphics and an extensive level map. Complete the tile-matching puzzles to win points and stars as you advance along the path to the finish. Make the icons swap places and line up three of the same ones to create a match.

How do you play Forest Match?

In this bejeweled game, you can swap two adjacent items to move the fruit, flowers and mushrooms around the board. The aim is to line up three or more of the same items. However, you can only swap items around if this results in a match. If not, they will simply jump back to their original position on the board.

To complete each level, you will have to collect or remove certain items. At the top of each level, you can see which icons you’ll need to fulfill the level objectives. Collect sweet berries, clear away patches of moss, and open the treasure chests.

If you combine more than 3 items at once, you’ll gain one of several bombs. Lining up four items will result in an explosive icon that can clear away a full row or column. You’ll recognize these items by the glowing white ring wrapped around them. The orientation of the ring indicates the direction of the blast.

Bigger combinations will result in even more powerful bombs, including a rainbow jawbreaker. If you combine this gobstopper with any other item on the board, it will zap away all tiles with that item on it. A great way to collect items quickly!

Forest Match strategy: How do you win extra stars?

Gaining stars is important. Not only will stars allow you to open the treasure chests scattered around the level map, you’ll also need them to open the gates you’ll encounter along the path. You can win stars by gathering lots of points. This is not always easy, but there’s a trick to it:

In each level, you have a limited number of moves. Any moves that are left after you complete the level objective(s) will be transformed into bombs and dropped on the board at random. They’ll all go off at once, and with some luck the resulting cascade will yield enough bonus points to fill up your score meter all the way to the 3-star mark!
